you wouldn't change it if you could, but still it sucks

things i did over the long weekend:

sat on the street outside a house show filled with twenty year olds, alternately bored and pissed off, messaging Meg2 and getting drunk off vodka smuggled in a water bottle
hung out with this guy
met a couple of super-nice guys from this band
watched a formerly super-nice guy from another band be a total and complete dick to me all night for no discernible reason. though i have my suspicions. and if they're true, don't worry baby. he loves you more than he ever loved me.
spent four hours traveling home for a family cookout, then spent four hours traveling back the next morning
had some painful realizations that were shocking only in their banal obviousness, and vowed to soldier on
saw my dad
ate a lot of french fries
redesigned scribblefaster.com to make it pretty
did laundry
watched a lot of tv marathons

all hail the long weekend! now let's get on with the fall...
