10. the michelin ads from the late 90s, with the cutest babies in the world sitting in tires. why were they in tires? who knows, but they were SO CUTE!
9. I don't know what game it's for, but a bunch of kids in a backyard have a raygun that turns their friend into a chicken. brilliant
8. the "to live and date in ny" ad I was telling you about, where the guy says all those horrible things about women and his date jams a fork in his arm
7. those wacky sportscenter ads from a few years back
6. the car ad (VW?) with nick drake's "pink moon"
5. the nike ads that were dubbed english over french, with the guys walking up sides of buildings to get a girl's dropped purse or to get away from a chicken
4. the ikea ads that make you feel all sorry for the discarded lamp, and then say "this lamp has no feelings! it is just a lamp!" hee hee!
3. the Staples Holiday Robot, who helps shoppers find gifts and falls in love with a fax machine ("Weeping. Weeping.")
2. Buddy Lee! Anything with Buddy Lee! (but especially the ad they did for the red cross after 9/11. I cried, I admit.)
1. VW's "Mr. Blue Sky" office hipster in his grey grey world. You go oppressed office worker! There is light and joy in your future! Keep hope alive!

11. little caesar's commercial with the dog that could say "i wuff yoo"
10. the how many licks to a center of tootsie pop
9. Nike's Streaker (he runs around naked on a English football field)
8. VW w/ Nick Drake's "Pink Moon" (i loved that one too)
7. Perdue's "Pick-Pick-Pick" commercial, where there's a cooked bird sitting in the fridge and this guys picks at the bird over time and the jingle goes "pick-PICK-pick"
6. the snapple lady
5. kodak commercial where this guy, who has to leave his sleeping girlfriend n the early morning, takes a photo of himself, prints it out and leaves it on his pillow with the words "wish i was here" for his girlfriend to find when she awakes. (sigh)
4.VW Squares - they show a sequence of square household objects like a toaster, etc., but in the final shot, they show they lovely round little beetle.
3. Nike's "Angry Chicken" (ditto sistah)
2. Levi's commercial with the hot boy and the chick and a stolen car. they shove the car in the water but the cute boy realizes he forgets something in the car and dives after it. when he resurfaces, the girl asks in french "what did you forget?" and the camera shows that in his backpocket is a french-English dictionary. And Air's "Playground Love" is playing in the background and it totally sets the mood perfectly.
1. VW - Bubbles - that is our office homeboy with the elo song. I found out that the commercial was actually entitled "bubbles." i wonder why? maybe because he's a bubble boy trapped in his sterile office environment?
