so I don't usually post political stuff, divisive as it is. but I'd like to reiterate some recent news stories that are worth considering before november 2. one is the latest anti-US, terrorist-sympathizing nation to endorse this candidate (meanwhile, the rest of the free world is hoping it's the other guy). the other is the continuing disconnect between the war rhetoric and reality.
I don't understand how the republican party has been able to portray itself as the only party who supports our troops when the administration ignores the advice of top military leaders and does things like this and this. as a registered democrat, I'd like to point out that we support our troops so much that we'd like to not see them killed. that's how much we care. how that's worse than keeping them engaged in an increasingly dangerous and mismanaged war with no exit strategy is beyond me.
